Bottle shared from a non-ratebeer friend. Clear red brown with a small tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, light fruits and pine. Flavour is moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared from a non-ratebeer friend. Clear golden orange with a cream head. Aroma of caramel malt, green hops, light fruits and cardboard. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Hazy dark brown. Thin head. Rich, deep, plummy nose with toffee. Full body, light toastiness, rich fruity character. Any older and it might be too sour, but a good example on this day.

Bottle at tasting. Dark pour. Aroma of sweet malt, chocolate and some iron. Taste of licorice, sweet dark malt and a little choco. Bit thin, but nice beer.

Sampled from tap at Borresteijn’s place. Clear, dark red with a tan to brown head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of chocolate, coffee, cocoa and some dark fruits. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of chocolate, coffee, cocoa and some dark fruits, followed by a short, slightly roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

33cl Bottle. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, light smoke, chocolate, wood, roasted malts. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, caramel, roasted malts, some coffee, light fruity, some smoke, chocolate, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Nice.
