Bottled@fonefan. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some floral notes and rather strong earthy notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, mildly fruity and toffeeish with some rubber and grains.

Bottle 330ml. clear glass. [ As Westindien Sommerzeit ].Clear medium yellow color with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, spicy, anis seed. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet spices, anis seed, spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141024]

Bottle 750ml. corked. [ As Westindien Maltwhisky-Bier ]. [ Bottle #45/300 ]. Clear light medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, smoke, light wood. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, wood, dry, sweet malt, oak. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140517]

Bottle. A gusher producing a huge, diminshing white head over a hazy, golden body. The aroma is rather spiced, with some citrusy, lemony notes in the back. Ginger. The flavor is pretty much the same, the spicyness dominating with the fruityness in the back. Medium to thin body, rather effervescent. Not very interesting this one. And gushers are never a good thing. 141024

Pours cloudy pale yellow with a huge white head. Aroma has notes of malt, spices, anise and hint of dried fruits. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is fizzy.

Bottle. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, hop, vanilla, whiskey. Flavour is roasted malt, hop, vanilla, whiskey, wood, caramel, alcohol, dried fruits. Full body. OK beer.

08.10.2014, 0,75l bottle (#120/130) sampled @ BBGTC tasting:
Nice slightly bubbly mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, caramel malts, grass, peat, sugar, burnt caramel, wet leather, hay, nuts, hints of cardboard. Taste is mild and slightly sweet, caramel malts, grass, oak, minerals, alcohol, burnt caramel, peat, hay. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.
