0.75l corked bottle #120/130 shared with The Tasting Crew. This one pours a crystal clear deep deep amber colored body under a nice medium sized lingering and lacing just off-white head. Sweet diacetyl nose with traces of sweet roasted caramel, a mild peaty smokiness and hints of some red berries in the back. It's not over-anything but still not mine kind of aroma really. Fair. Tastes also mild peaty and smoked. Not ashtray, but still a decent amount of peat. Light oily in the mouth and it's about average on the carbonation. Light cardboard, burnt caramel, some grainy hints in the back. A little warming alcohol in the aftertaste. Hard time seeing what kind of genre this is, but it's definitely drinkable. Not very good, but drinkable. 08.10.2014

0.33l clear bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. It doesn't look too horrible this. A nice little quickly fading off-white / light beige colored head over a ruby-bronze colored crystal clear body. On the nose it has a decent dark caramel sweetness combined with traces if grains and something mild earthy metallic. Not a horrible aroma. Just above average on the near growing carbonation and it had a decent light oily feeling in the mouth. A bit thin on the taste. Slightly mineralish, lots of cardboard with more earthy nutty hints. Slightly dusty also in a way. Dry tail with a hint of something avidic. Not horrible actually, but no way this is a amber. 08.10.2014

0.33l litt clear bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a near clear looking one deep golden in color and not much of a head. Only some translucent bubbles in the sides. Lots of sweet butter and diacetyl on the nose. Almost a little skunky. Sun damaged most likely, wet slightly sour grains. All in a a pretty horrible aroma. Thin and white watery in the taste, about average on the bubbles. Doesn't taste much better than it smells really. Lots and lots of wet cardboard, a grainy mess. Corn, sun damaged hops and it's really not tempting to finish my relatively small glass. Bah. 08.10.2014

Bottle, 2.8%. Cough syrup aroma, herbal and not very pleasant. Cloudy yellow colour. Small white head. Some sediment in the bottle. The flavour has the same cough syrup note as the aroma. Lemony finish. I must admit this tastes much more like a spice/herb/vegetable, but from the ingredients on the back label it looked like a session IPA.

Bottle. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with some sweetish, malty notes. Bitter and acetic flavour, with notes of vegetables and some sweetener. Watery. Acetic aftertaste. Weird.
