4/8/2018. Bottle courtesy of trade with ciocanelu, cheers! Pours red/brown with a lasting foamy off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, biscuit, dark fruit and a hint of chocolate and maple syrup. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Started ok but soon faded.

BOTTLE from Berero. Hazy amber, pillowy off-white head. Smells nothing like and IPA - mashed cereals, boiled fruity, some bread, the hops - grass and hay, with hint of burnt sunflower oil. Similar taste - sweet bready and fruity malts, cooked corn, grassy woody bitterness with notes of sunflower seeds. Juicy, chewy mouthfeel. Not that bad, but missed the style guidelines by a mile.

BOTTLE 50 CL at home. Hazy amber, diminishing off-white head. Spicy mineral nose, light notes of dms-y malts (that felt so fine in their lagers, but seen totally out of place here), sweet bready malts, mealy cereals. Smells nothing like weizen. The taste is sweet bread, light peppery hop. Full chewy mouthfeel, prickly carbonation. Not even remotely a weissbier, but a pretty nice rustic lager it is.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Cloudy amber, off-white head. Juicy and young rustic aroma - strong raw cereals, some fresh malt sweetness, (some tart fermenting for a while), no detectable hops. The taste starts with a juicy kind of low caramel malts, just a little bit of lagerish cooked corn that actually fits in nicely here. Soon, a strong dry lingering bitterness kicks in. Soft full mouthfeel. Fresh, rustic and moreish.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear dark ruby-brown, beige head. Subtle bready aroma, pleasantly oily, muffins, some caramel and dried red berries. Taste: subtle British style toasted bread malts, light caramel and fruity sweetness, earthy spicy bitter finish. Well done.

NOV-2018. Growler from Stația RomBeer. Hazy amber, frothy ivory head. The aroma is raw malts, slightly cooked cereals - rustic and clean, not much hops unfortunately. Similar taste - macerated malț sweetness, slightly woody bitterness. Nice and fresh and rustic, but not that much finesse. Decent though. 6-4-6-3-12=3,1.
SEP-2018. Draft at Girafes Fest, Iași. Hard-core fresh cereals. Maybe I'm getting a slight hint of apricot jam. The taste is just as Hard-core, thought the bitterness is rough and woody. Ok, but could be much better. 6-4-6-4-12-3,1.
DEC-2017. BOTTLE 50 CL. Hazy deep amber, ivory head. A hint of caramel and quite a bit of cooked corn, some dusty hops? Dry bready malts and just a tad residual sugars, lots of leafy grassy hop, but there's too much DMS for them to cover. Thankfully, as the bitterness creeps in, it slowly kills all the off-flavours. Smooth, cleanly fermented mouthfeel. Could have been quite an authentic Czech style svetly - too bad the DMS ruins it all. 3-4-5-4-11=2,7
