Bottle as Oppigards Well-Hopped Lager. Strong noble hop aroma. Golden color and a white head that climbed out of the bottle, but flattened rapidly in the glass. Medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. The flavor is a good balance between pale malt and grassy hop. The finish is a tad bread with hop that persists. This is not so hoppy as Sam Adam’s Imperial Pilsner, but it’s a step in that direction.

Bottle: Pours a medium depth chestnut brown with a small, but creamy sand colored head. Thick sheets of lacing. Aroma is earthy, floral, malty, and spicey. Lots going on, but not too overpowering. Flavor is malty smooth with bits of spice and a lingering florals bitter trailer with that tingling spicey feeling.

Black color; creamy head. Delicate roasted malt aroma. Dry mouthfeel, the body is not strong, it has a good roasted malt flavor, milky and not much bitterness besides the one given by the roasted malt.

Beautiful brown color; creamy head. Very nice aroma, British (despite the usage of Centennial and Cascade with the East Kent Golding) and a quite high bitterness also deriving from it; the final is therefore a bit dry.

Pour is a dark red with a large white head. Aroma is full of oily hops and some roasted malts. Flavor is toffee and caramel with some earthyness and finishes bitter. After the swallow it leaves a coffee taste on the tounge. A soild beer for winter sipping.
