(Keg at Juova, 20260425) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain and honey. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, honey, marmalade and bitterness. Aftertaste had grass, marmalade and bitterness. A tasty grassy brew with sweets malty notes.

440ml can. Hazy, orange, dark golden colour with huge, frothy, very slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Juicy, tropical fruity, minimally leafy, hoppy aroma, oaty and wheaty malty background, notes of mango, passion fruit, guava, yellow stone fruit, some mandarine. Taste is moderately bitter, tropical fruity and minimally leafy hoppy, minimally strawy and spicy, pale malty, slightly oaty and minimally wheaty malty basis, minimally diluted notes of passion fruit, mango; dry, slightly papery, oaty and slightly chalky finish.
Watery texture, dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly carbonation.
Intense, hoppy nose, a bit watery concerning taste, slightly ruinous finish - quite Ok overall.

Copper with a white head. Really nice balance of fresh fruity citrus notes, pine, herbal notes, against pale and lightly toasted malts. Finish has a long fruity bitterness that gets dry at the very end. A very solid entry into the WCIPA world.

440ml can. Murky, orange golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Juicy, tropical fruity, minimally leafy, hoppy aroma, wheaty and slightly oaty, malty background, notes of passion fruit, mango, a touch of blood orange, gooseberry. Taste is mildly bitter, minimally zesty citrusy fruity and slightly tropical fruity hoppy, hints of grapefruit, blood orange, lemon, a touch of gooseberry, orange peel, grapefruit rind, wheaty and oaty malty basis, a tart-ish touch of citric acid.
Watery texture with minimally creamy base layer, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Juicy, refreshing, a bit thin - pretty decent.

Can picked up from Craftbeershop, webshop, Parchim, Germany, consumed at home Sunday 29th March 2026 after another hard day (actually half day) of gardening (mostly cutting back the old apple tree). We're making Roasted Red Pepper & Tomato Soup, also a Chorizo, Fennel and Potato Soup also a Mushroom and Madeira Soup and a Roasted Cauliflower Soup, we're also going to make a Broccoli Soup đ, it's soup Sunday. Listening to the new album from Deadletter - Existence is Bliss. Pours hazy warm gold with a large white head, nicely bitter, in fact the bittersweet balance is excellent. Sweetness, malty initially with a lengthy bitterness and a pithy slightly drying finish. A little piney and resinous, this is one of the better German West Coast IPAs that I've had recently. Score: 7.8
