Description
Langley was, and still largely is, farm country! We want to share our love of craft beer with the community we grew up in. With every can, bottle, glass or growler that we fill, we will strive to deliver the exceptional customer service of days gone by. Our brewery is built on the traditional old-fashioned country values of hard work, honesty, helping your fellow neighbour, working together and rewarding yourself at the end of a hard day’s work with a well-deserved brew.

Poured from 473mL can (canned 07/12/21). Pitch black with small beige head. Roast malt, a bit of toast, wood and booze, hint of caramel and astringency (especially as it warms up). Bourbon character is lacking. Not much in the way of depth. Despite all of this, it is more or less what I expect from Farm Country, maybe even slightly higher than what I expected.

473 ml can. Pours black with a moderate dark tan head. Aromas of dark dusty chocolate, molasses, vanilla, and subtle oak. Flavors of roasted malts, espresso and dry dark chocolate. Very dry finish. Rich and quite nice, but no appreciable barrel effects; which could add sweetness and bourbon, and would really make this outstanding.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Pitch black colour with generous brown head. Aroma of bourbon and wet cardboard. Medium body structure; the roasted malt flavour is prominent, with accents of heavily roasted nuts, almost burnt; notes of bourbon and cardboard.
It's a bit rough, and too 'dark' for my taste, but it's not bad.

Weak cloudy yellow body and minimal foam. Lots of lime and coriander on the nose, overbearing and harsh. Taste is overbearing lime, maybe vague lemongrass, salty finish overpowered by a steel wool aftertaste. It's amateur hour here sadly.

Foggy light orange body and minimal foam. Faint sweetness on the nose, maybe orange, it's all kind of jumbled and weak. Taste is weak chewy citrus, candied pine notes, ending wet. A surprisingly banal IPA.

Hazy medium yellow body and okay foam. Seems like fried vegetable oil on the nose, vegetal hops, fermented swampgrass. Taste is meaty hops, musty and funky, very slight wheat. Coming across too rough for this sort of thng.
