Description

Bottle shared at Gebrande, many thanks Raf! Slightly tart apple, a little bit of oxidative cheesy notes. Spritzy citrus. Surprisingly lively. Stellar stuff!

Tasted as part of the gueuze tasting led by H.ertie. First of the true gueuzes, and so much difference compared to the unblended lambics. Way more complexity, even though this has no 3 year lambic in it. Fairly sweet, some sourness, high carbonation.

Tasted as part of the 101% gueuze tasting, led by Raf. My least favourite of the base lambics, really could not drink this. Some sourness, some sweetness, and something bitter, but the end result made me think of vomit. Different from the Uli one.

Tasted as part of the gueuze tasting, led by H.ertie. From a cask of sorts. Brewed in May. Quite sour, with some bitterness in it. Easy to drink, but not very tasty for a lambic. Totally missing any complexity. Would work well on a hot summer day.
