A red, very bubbly, slightly unclear beer with a very small and very fast disappearing head. The aroma is fruity with strawberry notes - and a faint lambic sharpness. A very nice aroma - but for a lambic - not enough lambic aroma. The flavor is soft at first, then dominated by strawberry and finally getting somewhat lambic sharp - but the sharpness is too weak and dies away way too quickly. OK taste - but nothing exceptional. All in all an average beer.

A hazy brown beer with no head. The aroma is only slight compared to other gueuzes but has the distinct sharp note of the wild fermentation. The aroma is quite sweet with notes of the sharpness and dryness of a gueuze. An OK beer, but I would rather have a sharper and drier gueuze. I think this is a good gueuze to introduce people to the concept of gueuze.

Blonde with lasting white head. Faint pineapple nose. Pineapple in flavor is very vinegary

Hazy gold, good fruity nose. Great plum taste. The sweetness of the plums balance the lambic tartness

Pale orange colour, slightly hazy. Small head. The first thing you notice when opening the bottle is a HUGE banana aroma. But when it gets in the glass the banana is soon overshadowed by the typical lambic horseblanket/barnyard smell. Drinking it is like drinking two different drinks. As long as the beer is in your mouth all you can feel is an artificial banana-flavour but once you have swallowed it there''s that lambic beer again! A bit sweet though. A very schizophrenic beer!

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival, called De Troch Cuvée Chapeau Lambic (5.0%).
Golden hazy. Punching aroma of crayfish decoction!?! (Salty dill and seafood). Fruity and sweaty. Medium sweet with some acidity, bizarre sweaty crayfishes in chinese sweet & sour sauce. Not your everyday beer...

This is incredible. This is a disgrace for beer. Those sweet banana-candies you can buy in the stores? Mash 'em together, throw some carbonation in it, and you got this chapeau banana. A beer, did i actually say beer?, a fluid to forget real quickly!

Orange coloured. Super sweet. A perfect clone of the artificial pineapple juice I used to drink when I was younger.
