Tap in the Lagerhaus. Dark golden, in fact almost indistinguishable from Hopfengold, but with a more tanned lacing cream. Light grainy copper and grassy aroma. Medium full dry mineral mouthfeel, chewy grain,bisquit, ripe honey, a hint fruitiness, herbal, light metallic finish. Solid.

Tap at True Brew. Hazy coppery-amber body, off-white head. Resinous and fruity aroma, caramelly. Dry, caramelly taste, prunes and something creamy, citric, lean enough but unimpressive. Okay!

Tap at True Brew. Clear light chestnut. Citrus, lemon rind, stone fruit, moreish pines. Soft, balanced, fluffy, nicely bitter, lemon, wood, pines. A tad of cold butter, sliiightly sticky oily creamy aftertaste. Lovely.

Tap at the brewpub. Clear yellow-golden body, lasting white head. Sweetish citrusy, floral marmalade aroma. Leanish, sweetish taste, floral, bit fruity, bit hoppy-herbal, light bitterness, fairly big carbonation. Bit unusual, maybe even messy mouthfeel-wise.

Bottle at Lagerhaus (no, it's not on tap). Hazy golden-yellow body, off-white head. Banana and sweetish grainy maltiness in the aroma. Creamy, soft taste, extremely well rounded light vanillaish maltiness with neither esters nor cloves coming too much forward. Maybe vaguely citric and minerally but oooh so soft. Maaan. Huge respect for the body!
