Can at home, from an IP trade with Beer Viking, 02/03/19. Clear golden blonde with a well presented lasting off white head. Nose is airy malts, creamy, bread dough, grass, faint citric peel. Taste comprises bready and pale malts, grass, vague caramel, hint of apple sauce, grains. Medium bodied, smooth massaging carbonation, semi drying close Decent helles.

50cl bottle from Getränke Orterer, Straubing. A hazy golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of moderate sweet breadish wheat malt, yeast and clove. Taste of moderate sweet phenolic banana, breadish malt, yeast.

Bottle. Malty aroma, grainy and metallic notes. Tastws the same as aroma, light to medium bitter. Light to medium body, malty bitter finish. Average.

Advent Calendar haha: pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is grainy, sweetbread, cheap lager. Taste is sweet and bready with low bitterness. Kind of swilly.

At least there is at least six of us drinking from the Advent Calendar! Crisp golden coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall pure white head that coats the beer nicely and stays afloat for the duration. Aroma of grass, light lager yeasts, some biscuity malt and a touch of pure caster sugar with not much else. Light-bodied; Very soft malts coat the palate with the biscuits, yeast, grain and a touch of apples and pear sweetness and the faintest bit of german hops without any bitterness at all, just some soap on the finish. Aftertaste shows the dry character, but a nice abrupt sweetness from the apples and pears with little else, except some dry flavours and a dose of wheat and grain at the end. Overall, a nice and dry lager with crisp flavours showing nothing assertive, nothing pungent or cloying and a very easy-drinking beer throughout - great to sample as Day One (even though I'm drinking a day late) on the Costco Advent Calendar. I sampled this 500 mL can as Day One [of twenty-four] of the 2018 Christmas Advent Calendar, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 30-September-2018 for US$59,99/twenty-four, sampled at my house here in Washington on 02-December-2018.

16 ounce can from the Advent Calendar. Pours a clear yellow hue with a small white head. A light husky grainy nose. Toast, some lemons, light dry base, a bit of citrus. Solid. Very drinkable.
