Bottle, from trade with Maria. A finger-thick, dense, white head forms over a clear, quite pale golden body. The aroma is rather neutral, but far from bad. Pale malts, fruityness and some grassy hints. Crisp and pleasantly bitter, with pale malts as a backdrop. Grass, a light peppery touch and some citrus too. Fruityness and bitterness in the end. Overall, a pleasant Helles, crisp and refreshing. 120211

Bottle, from trade with Maria. A clear one, golden in color and with a small, white head on top. The aroma is a blend of grassy hops and sugary maltyness. Flavorwise it’s not much more interesting, but some orange, and of course a little bitterness chimes in. Fruityness and bitterness in the end. It’s medium bodied and a bit flat on the palate. A decent beer, but too mediocre for my likings. 120211

Bottle 330ml. @ home.[ Trade by Maria ]. Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, white bread, sugar, malt, alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, sugar, white bread, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120105]

Beer No. 113 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Bottled 500ml. -on random gas station somewhere in Bavaria. Cloudy yellow/pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, wheaty fruity nose. Lively carbonation. Malty, mild wheaty and fruity with hint of orange in rather watery finish.

Bottled (thanks Timo A!). Golden colour, small head. Aroma is caramel malts, mild grassyness. Flavour is caramel, caramel, some alcohol, and some quite grassy and bitter notes.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, greenish golden colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet pale malty aroma with notes of biscuits, a tinge of honey and shades of grassy hops, accompanied by traces of alcohol. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Robust pale malty, biscuity taste; almost dry malty finish with present grassy hoppy notes lingering into the aftertaste. Quaffable pale Bock. 15.X.08
