Optisch kastanienbraun und klar mit orangefarbenen Reflexen. Die nussbraune, feinporige Schaumkrone gibt sich flaumig und gut haltbar. Zurückhaltende Duftaromatik - leicht getreidige bis karamellige, aber keine wahrnehmbaren röstigen Malznoten. Der Antrunk kommt sehr süß, weichrezent und zuckerig-malzig. Der Körper wirkt sehr dünn, weich karbonisiert, hat wenig Textur und ist sehr süß. Die ersten Eindrücke setzen sich auf Gaumen und Zunge fort. Man schmeckt sehr viel Süße und eine sehr zarte, trockene Herbe, vernimmt aber bis auf eine zarte Karamelligkeit keine nennenswerten Aromen. Keine Spur von Kakao oder Schokolade. Was soll man zu diesem "Porter" noch sagen? Viel zu süß, zu zuckerig und absolut nicht dem Stil entsprechend. Zwar ist es nicht übel und auch einigermaßen gut trinkbar, aber ja... Die Erwartungshaltung wird massiv enttäuscht. Der süßmalzige, zuckerige Nachtrunk fäll rasch ab und klingt zart trocken-herb aus.

Big thank you to kappldav123 for this 0,5 l bottle. BB 16.01.2026. Dark red golden in the glass, one finger foamy head. Sime malt, caramel and chestnut on the nose. Taste starts with malty bitterness and perfumed alcoholic sharpness. Little bit floral elements. Above average carbonated. Okay for its kind.

500 ml bottle. Unclear golden with a foamy head. Very grainy and strawy, candied malt, dry zests, cereal, grapefruit. Grainy sweetness, dry zesty bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry zesty grainy strawy bittersweet finish. What a nice lovely Festbier!
