Draft at Hoppy Days. Black inky pour, white head. Aroma of roasted malt and sweet choco. Taste of chocolate, licorice and bitter laurel. Nice impy, but a bit too much licorice for my taste.

Draft. Black-ish beer. Aroma of roasted malt, the usual for stout-like beers.. Taste of roasted coffee and burned malt, with a nice herbal saltiness, probably the rosemary. Creamy and smooth. Good beer.

Bottle, 330 ml brought by Ivan from Birraviva beer shop in Italy .Pours hazy orange with lasting white head. Nice citrus fruity hoppy aroma and flavor. Caramel malt base and bitter finish.

On tap at Hoppy Days. Pitch black colour, dense frothy beige-brown head. Aroma of toffee, hard-roasted malts, coffee, bitter chocolate, berries, juniper, grapefruit, quite hoppy. Flavour is very hoppy, grapefruit, lemon juice, hard-roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, jenever, hoppy bitter finish with more roast. Medium to full bodied. Good stuff.

On tap at Hoppy Days. Reddish brown colour, beige head. Aroma of lots of citrus, hint of pine, lemon and grapefruit, mango, some roast. Flavour is medium sweet, some roasted malts, grapefruit, lemon, other fresh citrus fruits, hint of coffee, bitter finish, some toffee. Light bodied. Very easy BIPA. Nice.

Birrificio Pontino x Birra + More Uxorio. On cask at Birra + A black beer made with black berries. A musty cheese and chocolate nose. Med-light bodied the taste is cacao, musty and lightly bitter. Ok but doesn’t gel for me.

Tap @ Hoppy Days during ’oudjaarsticken 2014’, medium sample. Dark brown color, short head. Aroma of chocolate, bit roast, molasses, earthy hops. Bit sweet in taste, cookie, coffee. Easy going stout.
