0,5 l bottle. BB 01/2026. Murky dark brown with a stable and nearly two finger light tanned head. Intensive smokey aroma, some fruity elements, banana and orange way behind in the second row. Taste is also smoked ham, little bit earthy, sweet fruity elements in the second part.

Bottle from the Schlenkerla webshop. Cloudy golden, fluffy white head, fine carbonation. Wet smoked hay nose, minerals, berries, some mossiness. Medium light body, fine sparkly, wheaty chewiness, sunbleached wooden notes, dry smoke, hay, banana and apricot notes, mineral, smoke aftertaste. Somehow both a Holotype Grätzer and a bit more intense - I am amazed how much flavor and body are in these 2.9%.

Superficial tasting at company beer tasting. 2023 edition. Amber body under a huge, foamy head. Nice smoked aroma with malt, smoked meat, caramel and some dry fruit. Taste like aroma, quite sweet and very smooth. Moderate smoke flavor compared with some other brews from Aecht Schlenkerla. Nice and food friendly.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with fluffy white head. Aroma is light smoke, floral, very pleasant, super clean. Taste is fresh crackery, mild smoke, floral and herbal hops, a bit of malt sweetness. Oily mouthfeel, ample carbonation. Very good!
