Kopparbrun vätska med beigefärgat finbubbligt skumlock. Aromer av rökta charkuterier, tjärad ekplank och en aning karamell. Ännu mer rök i malten som fångas upp av beskan, som är lite gräsig. Smakrik och medellång eftersmak.

Mörkt bärnstensfärgad och disig vätska med finbubbligt skumlock. Arom av rökt torv, hö och lite gräs. Rejäl maltnärvaro utan överdriven kladdighet. Ren beska som balanserar smakerna. Mer rökt orvi smaken. Hyfsat kort eftersmak och en bra törstsläckare.

Bottle. Copper reddish, mostly clear, cappuccino head. Smoke, roasted, salty, bread, malt, cream, soft. Crunchy, creamy, full body. Nice long lasting smoke, malt. Fresh. I like this.

50cl Bottle @ Brewery. Pours amber copper with a White head. Tasty. Smokey meaty. Smoothness. Really soft like the BA marzen at the brewery. Lovely. 4.3

500ml bottle. Opalescent, ruby colour with average to huge, thick, dense, firm, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Woody, smoky malty, slighty caramel malty and minimally leafy, hoppy aroma, notes smoked wood, some caramel, a minimally ashy touch, whiffs of tobacco, toffee, protein, yeasty overtones. Taste is nutty, smoky malty and caramel malty with some residual sweetness, notes of hazelnut, caramel, smoked wood, leafy hoppy overtones with a touch of tobacco
Creamy-oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Very well crafted, fantastic colour, excellent mouthfeel, nice nutty aspects - just one word: divinely!

Bottle, enormous thanks to Patrick M for bringing it to Ryan and Ryan for sharing! Coppery amber body, off-white head. Quite smokey, woody aroma, smooth, with bits of dried fruit. Smooth taste, wood and bacon, minerally, soft, well balanced, excellent! Beat the Unfiltered Helles for me!

Bottle from the Schlenkerla webshop. Copper with a slight haze, golden foam. Juicy malt smoked fish aroma. Medium full chewy body with nice fizz, full grain, light fish, fatty beech base, fullbodied, sparkly, woodsmoke pop, berry notes, intensive fun.

Bottle 0.5l at home, Espoo. Colour is clear orange with medium white head. Aromas and flavours: Smoke, some tar, grain, some syrup, malts.... Very typical schlenkerla. Just great.

A reddish copper ale with a thick frothy lacing mocha head. In aroma, caramel malt with light peated notes, light bacon, light cereals, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light peated notes, light cereals, pleasant and smooth. On tap at Clandestin.
