Cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma of malts, yeast, spices, slight caramel, fruits and hops. Flavour is yeasty, spicy and hoppy, with a nice long bitter aftertaste. Somewhere between a Tripel and a Belgian-style IPA. Either way, I definitely enjoyed this one.

Aroma of citrus, yeast, orange peel. Flavour is yeasty, more orange peel, some sweetness. Definitely a notch above the usual boring Heller Bock.

Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, some chocolate, liquorice, hint of dark fruits. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a moderate roasty bitter finish. Decent Stout, but not very memorable.

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, roast, lots of liquorice, caramel, candy sugar, vague hint of hops in there. Flavour is sweet and a bit sticky with a medium bittersweet finish. Body is medium. Ridiculously overcarbonated, making the beer hard to drink. Where are all the tasty American hops? Instead, there’s a shitload of liquorice. Add to that the annoying carbonation. Not good.

Bottle 0,75ltr: Clear brown coloured brew with an slightly fruity taste and hints of caramel. This brew have not that regular bitter sweetness as normal (Doppel)Bock beers, more of the fruity kind is this one due New Zealand hops.
