500ml bottle at home. Pours a traditional Irish Red Ale colour of burnished red with a thin off white head. Aroma of sweet malts, brown bread, buttery notes. Flavour is very well balanced, slight floral hops combined very nicely with the bready malts. Easy drinker

500ml bottle, shared with Andy on 27th May 2018; he brought the bottle to a family barbecue I had organised, cheers Andy. Amber body, off-white crown. Caramel like aroma with a mild citrus undertone, taste also caramel forward with a slight lemon twist in the finish. Must admit I was expecting some Peat Bog aromas and flavours, but there was none of that sort of thing going on. Decent enough beer, went well with a couple of Nurnberger sausages.
