Can. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit aroma. Summer fruit and grapefruit flavor with light sweetness. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and summer fruit linger with backing sweetness.

Waxed 500 from Corti Bros. Pours dark brown with a transient, slight tan head. Aroma of dark fruits with a bourbon note. Full bodied. It's malty. Heat stands in for bitterness. There's dark plummy fruit, heat, nice level of bourbon, and some oak wood astringency. Overall quite smooth and well integrated. Excellent.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours slightly hazy gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is very tropical. Med body. Flavor is very complexly tropical. Surprisingly towards dry with an astringency note. Moderately bitter or more. It's really flavorful. I think there's green melon, white berry and passion fruit. Maybe even green guava. But it is way too complicated for my abilities to parse. Super good.

Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some sweet malts, tropical fruits and mild lemongrass too. Flavour is peach, apricot, some citrusy tones with a nice floral bitterness to it. Also a bit sweet malts along the hoppiness in the flavour.

Bottle. Pours a deep black hue with a medium creamy brown head. Looks awesome. A big malty nose, sweet licorice and bourbon. Rich, a bit warm, sweet licorice, dark fruit, barrels. Heavy, slick palate. Lovely beer. Balanced out stout with the BW, very woody.

On tap. Pours a very hazy orange yellow hue with a thick white head. A big sweet nose. Rich, huge pineapples, vanilla, lactose, very tropical and pineapple forward. And it works very well.

16 ounce can from the brewery. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A light toast and citrus nose. Soft perfume, toast, light citrus. Solid. Pretty clean.
