Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent gold with a large, but transient, white head. Aroma is dank weed and piney. Med plus body. Flavor is incredibly dank with pine and barely discernible roasty malt. Dry, dry, dry. Bitter, bitter, bitter. Annihilation was an appropriate word. Excellent.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear orange/gold with a large creamy white head. Aroma is orange citrus, pale stone fruit and mango. Med body. Tends towards juicy, but fairly towards dry. There's a strong biting flavor - kind of like dark berry tang, but mostly pale stone fruit, citrus and something very like mango. Bitter for sure. Great flavor.

Can from the Natomas venue. Pours hazy peach color with very little head. Aroma is slightly tart peach with marshmallow support. Med plus body. Flavor is slightly tart peach/apricot with marshmallow support. Some vanilla. The 9% is not really noticeable except in the brain. Bit of a hit that. Seems dry because it's tart - seems not dry because of the marshmallow. Quite a different thing. Be interesting to see future editions.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours lightly orange tinged gold with a significant foamy near-white head. First whiff actually brought seaweed to mind. Then it turns into citrus and green melon. Hmmm. Med body at least. Flavor is wantabe dank, citrus, melon and detectable caramel support. Quite dry. Quite hoppy. West Coast bitter. Excellent.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours translucent gold with a foamy white head. Aroma of garlic and citrus. Med plus body. Flavor heads for dank, lightly juicy. And besides garlic there's something that has to be grapefruit. Caramel support - enough, but hardly intruding on the hops. Towards dry. Nicely bitter. Really flavorful ale.
