0.33 l bottle from ’Marqt’, best before September 2016. Clear, golden yellow with thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fruity-floral aroma of vanilla, straw, some hops and hints of citrus. Sweetish, slightly bitter taste of hay, vanilla and grains, followed by a long, medium bitter, grassy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Not your typical tripel, very grassy and pilsener-like. Apart from that, quite a simple and average but also easily drinkable beer.

0.33 l bottle from ’Marqt’, best before October 2016. Clear, deep red with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, tan to brown head. Roasty, fruity-malty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee beans, raisins and brown sugar. Sweetish, fruity-malty taste of raisins, prunes and nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter and roasty finish of dark chocolate and coffee beans. Medium body, slightly oily to creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Well-balanced, not that sweet bock with prominent chocolate and coffee aromas. Very nice!

Unclear golden colour, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma malt, banana, yeast, caramel, hay. Taste medium sweet and bitter, bit fruity, bit toffee. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, rather bitter in the aftertaste with light spicy notes, bit woody. Lacks refinement but despite that an okay Tripel.
