About

Rhaner Bier – immer gleich gut!

Dark amber with little tan head. Aroma is dried plums, licorice, smoke. Unpersonal taste, alittle bitter, even less sweet. Spicy as well. Overall nothing special.

Bottle. Brown, creamy offwhite head. Fairly smoky, roasted. Dry, medium lightbody, minerally, slightly sour barrel notes, tinny thin. Needs more oomph.

Kurzer Nachhall. Da ist noch Platz für Korrekturen. 8/8/7/6/9/6

Stark karbonisierter Antrunk, eher trocken und wenig malzig. Geringe Bitterkeit, minimal würzig. Das Aroma bleibt verhalten. Nicht sonderlich spannend. 12/7/7/6/9/6

Bottled. Yellow colour with a mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is floral, grassy and herbal with a nice sweetish, but biscuity maltiness to it. Flavour is grassy, herbal, some sweet malts, but also bready and also some slight earthy notes. Easy to drink, and makes you want more, even though it’s quite a standard Helles in most ways.
