50cl Fles van Getränke Hoffmann Kleve. Helder, lichtamber kleur, witte kraag. Moutig, licht tot medium zoet, honing, wat caramel, noten, toast, degelijk bitter. Lichte body. Prima Festbier.

Light golden colour, large frothy head that stays long. Aroma is white bread, corn, some grassy hops. Light bitterness. Light body. Simple but good.

0,5 l swing top bottle as Allgäuer Büble Winterbier. BB 07/26. Purchased at a local Rewe. Clear dark aber in the glass, one finger foamy light tanned head. Light roasty aroma, some sweetness. Taste has caramel, som toasted malt. Little bitt sweetness, metallic hints, soft but increasing bitterness. Below average carbonation. Okay.

Klare goldgelbe Farbe; feinporige, stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase malzig, würzig, leicht buttrig. Im Geschmack rund, hellmalzig, leicht würzig, etwas Bittere, süßlich. Insgesamt solide.

Tap at Goyrmet Hau’s. Clear older gold with moderate, stoneground white head. Flavor and aroma are light malt. Restrained all around with a thinnish mouthfeel.

On tap at That Beer Place, Chester. Pours a solid gold with minimal almost white head. Mainly malts in the aroma with hints of honey and continental hops. In the mouth it is basically sweet but with sharp and bitter elements as well, and a slightly watery texture. Flavour has mainly malts and grain, but quite a bit of spice also and hints of herbs and honey after a while. Finish is slightly dry. This is reasonable, quite enjoyable but somewhat generic.

Cloudy deep gold to pale amber with a one finger tall off-white head of low retention. Phenols, oxidized malt, spicy & fruity notes. Very low hopping. A disappointment.

Clear gold with a good head. Clean pale malt, crackers, straw, restrained fruitiness, spicy noble hop. Medium dry. light to medium ending bitterness. Rounded & balanced. Pretty good.

Clear pale amber with a decent ivory-coloured head. Toasted bread, pale malt, sunflower oil, spicy hop. Light sweet, solid ending bitterness. OK.
