The aroma is sweet and malty with notes of hops, yeast, caramel, and berries. The color is a very dark red and it has a beutiful beige head. The flavor is of sweet and roasted malts with notes of chocolate and fruit. It ends on a good bitterness both from the hops and the malt. A very nice stong ale.

Pourred a very nice copper brew with a with a thick foamy head that disapear a bit quickly. Good malt nose and taste until I feel the sharp sour and metallic aftertaste. Wow, such a great start but a very disapointing ending. Below average for this one but I would still be curious to try other product from this brewery.

Amber colour brew with a nice generous head that stayed on for a while. This is a standard english ale with the usual bitter aftertaste and good hops taste. It is a good brew but nothing out of the usual or to distinguish himself from the pack.

Bitterness, nicely balanced by a grainy, malty finish, but lacking complexity in every way - I've tasted more character licking the scripts of Steve Martin plays.

This beer looks outstanding - excellent, off-white head that lasts for quite a while, leaving a persistant lacing - perfect amber/brown color - the aroma is a bit disappointing, with little more than a slight roastiness, perhaps some yeast - the flavor is a bit thin for the style, actually, a bit thin in general, but still quite enjoyable - slight woodiness, with some roasted malt flavors - some hop bitterness - the finish tries to make up for the thin flavor with some hints of coffee and a lingering hoppiness that is pretty tasty, but it can't quite round out this beer well enough - not recommended if you're a big fan of the style - this is an "easy drinking" English Strong.

Bottled. Even as you know you want to try it for the name alone, something in the back of your mind says this could be another 3 Stooges Panther Pilsner. But no, instead a pretty nice bitter. Maybe a little carbonated to please American tastes, but that's the only consession it seems to make. Bitter is not a style I've had a lot of experience in, but I'll suspect this is somewhat middling against the well done ones. Good light brown color and maltiness, slight fruitiness. Just fun to bring out. And I found at the Whole Food Market in Chicago (so it may not have traveled as well as it might.

A great dark brown colour with a dense tan head. The smell is almost completely malt, but there are definately some roasted qualities as well. A full-bodied beer with a good roasty flavour and a long-lasting aftertaste which consists of strong malty flavours. A pretty well done beer...really no complaints. I bought this in a 16.9 ounce bottle from Beers of the World in Rochester, New York.

A bit joghurty nose, otherwise nice aroma hops. Golden amber, blanket head. Followed through by a broad hop taste - good show.

Standard English ale appearance with a very strong caramel/barley aroma. The flavour is dominated by strong hops and caramel. Overall an average beer, slighlty disappointing.

Smooth white head from this amber beer. The aroma and flavour have an intense carmel quality to them accompanied by well hopped bitterness. A very pleasant beer and a very good bitter.
