Initial flavour is moderate sweet, finish flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, yeasty, phenol, fruity, sharp yeast bitter. Bottle sampled at the Gouda Winterbier festival. Pours cloudy yellow golden with an off white head. Aroma of yeast, light citrus and light caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ First Semester Ulfborg, 2014. Pours hazy to muddy amber with a small creamy head. Yeast, dust, caramel and alcohol. Sweet and alcoholic with a bitter finish.

Vestjysk Vinter Vanvid januar 2014. Hazy copper with a small off-white head. Malty aroma of caramel, with some fruit and cocoa powder. Sweet malty and fruity flavour

Bottle. A small, off-white head forms over a clear, amber colored body. The aroma is caramel malty, with hints of cellar. Some raisins too. It’s medium bodied and nicely carbonated, pretty dry on the palate. The flavor has a candy-ish sugar flavor, as well as caramel, raisins and some bitterness. Cellar notes all the way. Some blue plums in the finish, but mostly it’s like the initial flavor. Strange one. 140117

Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, yeast and some fruits. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Murky golden colour, big soapy white head. Aroma of mango, yeast, some sugar, malts. Flavour is medium-sweet, mango, fruits, lots of yeast, a little wheat, bitter yeasty finish. Light-bodied, way over-carbonated, dirty, but still quite nice.
