(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy golden with a decent, white head that leaves some laces. Aroma of citrus and yeast. Medium body with tart notes - doesn’t appear all too fresh. 240806

Bottled. Hazy nut brown, quite small white head. Fruity, some straw and notes of barnyard in the nose. Juicy barnyardish, not very solid flavor. Some apricot lying there. Short finish.

Straw gold with orange shine; very slim white head. Perfumed nose with mix of garden herbs, citrus and a bit of glue. Plane tree leaves. Very modest, restrained taste. Still obvious citrus, just pale malts and again a hint of glue. Greenery, again quite leafy; bit of ginger in the finish. Light bodied, watery texture, empty finish. I do like beers that keep back, that do not search to impose by flavour explosions. But there’s a limit - this is way too restrained.

Hazy orange, firm creamy off-white head. Floating yeast particles. Very yeasty nose. Medium to full bodied. Mostly soft, wheaty, yeasty-fruity flavor - some lemon and apples. Hides alcohol quite well. Too yeasty to be really enjoyable.

Foxy-brown, muddy; amber-yellow creamy head. Hazelnuts, buttery nose, bit of caramel & grass. Grassy taste, little bit green with more meaty esters, but not too obvious as the Tripel. Yeasty & sweet all the same. Little bitterish aftertaste. Well-bodied, slick. Much better than the triple, at least this baby is out of the maternity’s ward.

Fully muddy orange; dirty-yellowish thick head. Very creamy nose, fresh diary, yoghurt, little bit of coriander; very yeasty and hops - fresh, it would seem. All green-yeasty taste, non-fermented worts, meaty, proto-fruity flavours, full of still fermentable sugars. Very full, fleshy MF, sweet aftertaste. Brewers, CONDITION your beer before selling it off, g*d*mmit!

Dark hazy orange, lots of floating yeast. Tight off-white head. Lively carbonation. Aroma is an imitation of Orval, but not so citrusy: leather, horse blanket, sweet fruits. Flavor is fruity, palate feels quite flat though lots of carbonation is involded. Aroma is different than in Authentique Blond but flavor is quite close. Some witbier character also here. Next summer I must visit sayravai to drink his home-made Belgian ale :)

Hazy orange color, small white head. Sour apple-juice aroma. Low-carbonated flat mouthfeel, light to medium-bodied. Very witbier-like flavors though wheat is not used here: banana-sweetness, wheat, spices and chocolate box. Easy to drink summer brew.
