Description
On a small abandoned farm back in 2002 William Frank and Else Birk started a small brew house focusing on quality and good craftsmanship. The brewery was not far from where the Grauballe man (a bog body that was uncovered in 1952 from a peat bog) was found - hence the name Grauballe Bryghus.
Grauballe Bryghus was in these premises until the year 2013. By then it had grown so big that it was time to move to larger premises where it is today.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a small, off-white head. Slightly roasty, nutty nose. Medium body, very, very malt based, slightly biscuity. Decently hopped. Very old school but incredibly solid craftmanship. 170118

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish amber with a small, off-white head. Malty, biscuity aroma. Medium body, sweet caramellish, again biscuity with sufficient hops to avoid it cloying up. Very decent for the style. 170118

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a yellowish golden with a slight haze, and a tiny, white film of a head dissipating in no time. Yeasty nose, some banana. Medium body, fruity, very malty sweet again with some banana and cloves. The style really should be changed to Hefeweizen because that's what it is! 170118
