Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Clean, malty nose with a hint of sulphur. Solid malty body with some sweetness. Subdued bitterness. Nothing fancy, could've wished for a little more on the aroma side, but usual solid German craftmanship. 100124

500 ml bottle. Clear dark golden with a small head. Grain, malt, cooked vegetables, hay, nuts. Malty sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, malty grainy sweet finish. Not great, not bad either, a mediocre Festbier.
