Bottle, 5.4%. Good banana aroma. Hazy golden colour, sparkling. Big stable white head. The flavour is mild with a touch of banana and a touch of sugary sweetness. Light caramel finish. Low bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Clear dark golden with a small head. Grain, malt, cooked vegetables, hay, nuts. Malty sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, malty grainy sweet finish. Not great, not bad either, a mediocre Festbier.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, getreidiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig, leicht hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
Bottle from Lidl (10x Oktoberfest case of beers). Pours clear golden with a large thick throthy white head. Aroma is very malty with sweet grains, hay and doughy white bread. Taste is very bready with a touch more grains and hay and a long sweet malty finish. Gentle grassy hops balance the beer nicely. Full body with just the right carbonation producing a very good mouthfeel. Well above average Marzen. A beer you could gulp and gulp all night long. Good stuff!
