Description
We’re Josh and Frankie, husband and wife. We set up The Park Brewery in 2014 with the aim of creating really sumptuous juicy beers. Hop forward, stand out ales to be savoured and enjoyed.
Inspired by the new wave of microbreweries surfacing at the time, and loving the great beers coming through, Josh purchased a home brew kit to learn more about the process and started experimenting with the wonderful world of hops.
We named ourselves The Park Brewery due to our location, next to our favourite open space – Richmond Park. In an increasingly fast paced world, time out and nature is really important to us. We like to think our beer represents this – a moment to reflect – beer to be considered and enjoyed.

Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours bread unclear orange-gold with a thin, creamy white head. Ripening citrus in the nose, suggestions of dry cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with doughy pale malts, white bread, a little butter, more vague cocoa, a little coffee bitterness. Medium bodied, a little oily, with soft carbonation. Sweet finish with more pale bread, mellow bitterness, some citrus rind, orange, cocoa powder. Not bad overall, if a touch flabby.

Bottle at home, 04/02/18. Hazed orange golden with a decnt egg shell white head ... lots of floaties on display which detracts from the appearance of this number. Nose is orange peel, bubblegum, straw, melon, toasted grains. Taste comprises orange pith, citric tinged straw, caramel, light breads, melon, faint mineral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with moderate hop bitterness. Sippable but low end of the style spectrum.
