Description

We’re Josh and Frankie, husband and wife. We set up The Park Brewery in 2014 with the aim of creating really sumptuous juicy beers. Hop forward, stand out ales to be savoured and enjoyed.

Inspired by the new wave of microbreweries surfacing at the time, and loving the great beers coming through, Josh purchased a home brew kit to learn more about the process and started experimenting with the wonderful world of hops.

We named ourselves The Park Brewery due to our location, next to our favourite open space – Richmond Park. In an increasingly fast paced world, time out and nature is really important to us. We like to think our beer represents this – a moment to reflect – beer to be considered and enjoyed.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 24 Nov 2022) Amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty nose with notes of dried fruit, apricots, orange marmalade, caramel and bread. Malty, slightly fruity taste with apricots, dried fruit, orange, rye bread and a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

From cask Dog & Bell, Deptford, with Terje 22.04.23. Cloudy pale straw colour. Some white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of succade, old lemons, biscuits and sweet pale malt. Not great

Cask at EBF April 23. Aroma is bready and floral. Hazy light gold. Thin frothy translucent white head. Medium bitter. Grainy. Citrus. Fruity. Low key. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long finish. Alright if unexciting.

1/3 pint, draught at Craft Beer Co. - The Bear Paddington. Shared with Finn. Patchy white head, warm golden body leaving spotty lacing on the glassware. Moderate smell of ripe citrus and grain. Mixed taste profile of bread-like malts and herbal hops. Rounded ending with mild bitterness. Decent. (London 09.02.2023).
