Bottle. An unclear, brownish beer with a dense, beige head. A bit too much on the malty side in the aroma, it’s roasted, with lots of pine cones and resins. Some citrus peel. Malty, lightly roasted flavor too, with almost too much bitterness. Pine cones, resins and some citrus peel. It’s full-bodied, semi-dry and with a nice carbonation level. Lasting malty and bitter finish. Sure not your regular IPA, but drinkable indeed. Out of balance. 150530

Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, yeast and some fruitiness. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long malty, caramel, yeasty and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is very fizzy

Bottle. An unclear, dark golden to amber colored beer topped by a dense, two-finger colored off-white head. There’s a yeasty touch in the aroma, it’s quite fruity, with a malty touch in the back. A faint spiced hint lurks in the far back. A bit dull aroma, fortunately the flavor is more interesting. Less yeasty, more complex, with some caramel notes, a touch of malts, orange zest and a generic citrus note. decent bitterness and towards the finish a touch of spices chimes in. It’s full to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Semi dry. Overall, a quite decent beer, but not my favorite beer for the summer. 150719

Gusher. Huge fizzy longlasting head. Aroma is more or less co2 stinging in the nose, covering some tiny notes of yeast, paper, weeds and wheat. Taste is very neutral, harsh yeast, weeds, minerals, paper, wheat, flowers. Little bitterness, harsh sour-ish mouthfeel, very high and fizzy carbonation. Drainpour!

Many thanks to Meilby and Yngwie for a 500ml bottle, batch 18, of this one. Next to clear red-brown body. Slowly dissipating white head. Laces well. Pale malts and citrus nose. Taste of red orange and lemon, back drop of grain. Short bitter tail. Soft on the swallow. Pleasing (shared with Finn at our hotel room in Drammen, 30.05.2015).

500ml bottle, 6.5 % abv, batch 13, kindly shared by Meilby and Yngwie. Stable off-white head. Spotty lacing. Hazy dark golden in body colour. Sharp malt-fruity aroma, caramel and citrus. Lemony hoppy flavors added by a touch of brown malts. Mild citrus peels to the ending. Medium bodied. A decent one (hotel room, Drammen 30.05.2015).
