Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015. Bottle. Hazy pale amber color, small fizzy off-white head that diminishes quickly. Smell is pretty fruity and yeasty. Taste some bitterness, a touch of blossomy fruityness and lightly a hint of yeast in the background. Lightly dry finish. Low body, low to average carbonation. Meh.

Bottle. An unclear, brownish beer with a dense, beige head. A bit too much on the malty side in the aroma, it’s roasted, with lots of pine cones and resins. Some citrus peel. Malty, lightly roasted flavor too, with almost too much bitterness. Pine cones, resins and some citrus peel. It’s full-bodied, semi-dry and with a nice carbonation level. Lasting malty and bitter finish. Sure not your regular IPA, but drinkable indeed. Out of balance. 150530

Bottle. An unclear, dark golden to amber colored beer topped by a dense, two-finger colored off-white head. There’s a yeasty touch in the aroma, it’s quite fruity, with a malty touch in the back. A faint spiced hint lurks in the far back. A bit dull aroma, fortunately the flavor is more interesting. Less yeasty, more complex, with some caramel notes, a touch of malts, orange zest and a generic citrus note. decent bitterness and towards the finish a touch of spices chimes in. It’s full to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Semi dry. Overall, a quite decent beer, but not my favorite beer for the summer. 150719
