2024 version is 13.2%, aged in Woodford Reserve Bourbon and Corowa Whiskey barrels. Black, a tan head struggles to form. Aroma of mocha, brioche, green nuts, whisky. Syrupy, low carbonation. Sweet with mocha, brioche or even Welsh cakes, roast that eats at the sweetness, boozy whisky undertones, peppery oak. Lots going on but I wonder whether things would have more room to move were it a little less strong. Still, good.

Can. Gold, loose white head. Cracker bread aroma with grapefruit, pine, some mango skin - more APA than Oz. Light bodied with just enough crusty presence for the hops to sit on. Savoury citrus peel, pine needles, moderate bitterness. Quality hoppy quaffer that hit the spot on a sultry night.

Can. Orange amber, pale and almost clear with a good cm of white head. Subdued kumquat, herbal lemon, cracker and pine aroma. 7- Light bodied and dryish, (& so) more vibrant in taste, with pithy citrus, hints of tropical fruit before a finish that's moderately bitter but snaps nicely.

Can. Dark brown with a light tan head of about a cm. Aroma of chocolate, bread, some chicory. Sweetish and quite rich with a little more depth to the malt than I'd guessed - beneath the chocolate and bread there's a nice dark roasted note. Bitterness struggles a little to balance. A hearty drop.

Can. Very hazy yellowish orange with a white head. Shyish aroma of wintery oranges, pineapple, some herbs, chewed crackers. More vibrant taste but along the same lines. Juicy with herbal astringency enough to help the modest bitterness but not so much that it burns. Not bad if not really my thing.

Can. Brownish amber with a pale beige head that hangs around a little while. 3+ Aroma is toasty with some biscuit and light spices. Very nicely balanced with toast, moderate sweetness and a nip of bitterness and spices at the end. Good.
