We brew specialty beers in the early medieval style: with a cauldron over an open fire and hot stones in the brew. This gives the beer a roasted, sweet flavor.

Dunkler, etwas süßer Malzbeginn. Leicht schokoladig, würzig, zunehmend kräutrig. Würzig-herb, ansteigend malzig, langer Abgang - gefällt. 9/8/9/9/8/9

Smooth mild beginning. Creamy fruity, sour with hints of funk. Grain there, fruit with a creamy mild finish. Nice.

Bottle at home, darker amber beer, small head. Aroma is bit weird, sweet, some farmyard-ish aroma's, some fruit, yeast. Taste is the same, very fizzy, sweet, fruity, berries, yeast. taste is quite nice but the aroma.. there is something off putting in it.

0.33 l bottle from 't Biermenneke, best before October 2021. Hazy, dark brown with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, rather yeasty-spicy and minimally fruity aroma of caramel, overripe banana, nutmeg, chocolate, some clove and a touch of raisins. Quite sweet, malty, fairly yeasty-spicy, slightly roasty and minimally fruity taste of caramel, chocolate, toasted nuts, overripe banana, nutmeg, some clove and hints of raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly roasty, rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Decent Dunkelweizenbock, a bit too fizzy maybe.
