Pours amber gold with a white head. Aroma is tropical - suggesting dank. Wow. Med + body. Flavor is tropical, super hoppy, and touches on dank. Fruity and bitter. There’s a suggestion of fruit sugar. Heat is hard to detect. Overall it’s well towards dry and very bitter without being very astringent. Really good stuff. Killer even.

4 oz pour on draft at Claimstake. Without syrup to rate it. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of tart funk, light butter. Tastes of lightly tart lemon citrus. Light body with a dry finish. Simple but solid berliner, I’m sure this one would improve with the syrup.

Tap at Capitol Beer. Pours hazy pinkish with a whitish head. Fruity aroma. Med body or better. It’s bitter and fruity. Fairly strong flavors. Starts getting a little less than dry in a bitter fruity finish. Rather amazing.

Growlett shared by Marcus. Pours orange gold with a transient beige head. Aroma is a rather moderate earthy lemongrass. Med minus body. Flavor is rather strong lemongrass/earth. Some bitterness in the finish. Excellent. Seems to develop some ripe pale stone fruit after awhile.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy dark gold with a white head. Aroma of fruit and citrus. Full bodied or nearly. Flavor is fruit, citrus, maybe pine - verging on dank, and more so with time. Quite bitter. There’s an aspect like chewing on citrus zest. Claimstake doesn’t stint on ingredients. It’s really great. Glad I got the beer commemorating the relationship between brewer and provider. It’s special in more ways than one.

32oz growler, big thanks to oRos for sending me this, pours with a lightly hop hazed gold copper body that supports a near white head. The aroma is pulsing with mango and pineapple juiciness, some dank onion and then a modest sweet maltiness in the background. Wow! The aroma is money. The taste delivers a blend of juicy mango and pineapple and tangerines tussling with bitter citrus hops and spicy dank onion notes. I love this and it was a big hit at the tasting. It has just the right amount of depth, richness, juiciness and hop bitterness to create an invigorating balance.
