Description
Established in 2011 and commenced in 2013 brewing using Kemptown Brewery equipment. We moved to our own premises in Brighton in early 2015. 22/9/2019. Can at the British Speedway GP can share, bought at Eel & Bear, Hastings. Pours slightly hazy very pale yellow gold with a huge foamy white head. Aroma of lemon, citrus, hops, grapefruit, flowers. Moderate sweetness and medium plus bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Bitterness worked really nice with this one.

Keg at Brighton Bierhaus. It pours near black with a decent tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, chocolate cake, light creaminess, freshly ground coffee, caramel, Mars bar and a light umami /liquorice edge to it. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, chewy, chocolate cookies, cakey, rocky road, coffee grounds, peppery spice, kick of booze and some some dark fruits with a roasty finish. Medium+ body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Fulsome and quaffable. Maybe a bit sweet, but fun anyhow.

The taste is dry, toothy, chewy, rather bitter, pithy citrus, kumquat, tangerine, pine, resin, green character and tannin with lingering bitter - dry finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and slightly oily mouth - feel. Another decent hop heavy cask pale from these guys.
