Cask at Brighton Bierhaus. It pours clear golden with a bubbly white head. The aroma is sticky, resinous, pine, grapefruit, waxy lemon peel and a sweat. The taste is dry, good hit of of bitterness, oily, pine, sticky, resin, toothy, grapefruit peel and just a touch of spice. Lighter end of medium body and soft carbonation. A nice hop heavy pale.

Can 330ml. @ [ Højbjerg Tasting ] - Saxo House, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark.[ As Brighton Bier Viscous Rumour ].Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted - chocolate, dark malt, dusty, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, oat. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, sweet mal, dark fruit, fruity yeast, oat, licorice notes. Cloudy pale golden colour, huge white head, good retention, heavy lacing. Aroma pale malt, light grapefruit, orange marmalade, pine resin, earthy notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, light grapefruit, orange peel, spicy notes. Mild bittersweet aftertaste, light orange pith and spicy notes. Light to medium body, watery texture, average carbonation. Nothing special, easy to drink though, nice.
