Description
Established in 2011 and commenced in 2013 brewing using Kemptown Brewery equipment. We moved to our own premises in Brighton in early 2015. We love cask beer and recognise its importance within UK beer culture. We respect the historic importance of German and Belgian brewers. We embrace the attitude, ingredients and flavour profiles of modern progressive beer styles and breweries from North America and beyond.

Ceased trading June 2025. The related venues remained in business.

Keg at the cock tavern thanks to Wingman Dave for this one. A milky pale gold yellow coloured pour with a a halo of white head. Second attempt. A dank wheaty aroma, lemon rind, straw, zesty citrus. Flavour is composed of thin wheaty grains, pithy citrus, chalk, petrol. Palate is crisp, spixy, highish carbonation. Not bad.

From cask at Brighton Bierhaus, East Sussex, on tour to 22 southern counties with OGJ and EE 05.01.19. Clear golden. Uneven, but persistent off-white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of sweet and overripe mango, tangarines and papaya. Flat, even for a cask ale.
