Keg at BD Soho, 20/10/22. Light mahogany brown with a beige cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is dried fruit rinds, vinous notes, berry fruits, herb. Taste comprises fruit cake, spice, herb, hedgerow, vinous tones, dates., tangy fruit aspects. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.

Keg at doghouse edinburgh. Pours hazy orange, nose is caramel, burnt malts, some pine, taste is similar, dry and bitter.

Keg at Brewdog Bristol. Pours clear ruby amber with a beige cap. Tart fruity aroma. Taste: light sharp, gooseberry, red berries. Medium body with low carbonation. Odd one, doesn't work for me.

Gravity Cask at the Craft Beer Shop, Little Chalfont. Poured a crystal clear light amber colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter , with a smooth, earthy, herbal, nutty, floral, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Handpull cask at the Bull Baiters, Worcester. Dark gold, clear with a spotty white head and spotty lacing. Light aroma, some jammy and grassy notes, not getting much of the promised Nelson Sauvin characters. Sweet taste, some citrus/tropical hop alongside marmalade and a suggestion of caramel. Full, flat body. I have trouble with this one, it's more of a golden bitter than an Antipodean pale ale, but it's okay.

Wooden cask at the 31st Ealing Beer Festival, Walpole Park, 15/07/22. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a good sized beige covering. Nose is earthy roasted tones, dark malts, light charr, cocoa powder. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, oaked effect, toffee, baking powder, brown bread, earthy. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Solid enough brown ... worked better in the wood than the bitter.
