5l mini cask from beerdome.cz. Golden color, tall and stable white head, creamy. Lovely malty start, medium-bodied, good Saar hops tuning in at once, slightly resiny, with a bitter-sweet character. Smooth and velvety on the palate. Slightly more hoppy than their standard 11° - delicious and moreish.

500ml Can - Deep golden/light amber with a foamy head. Malty and fruity aroma with notes of sultanas, rye and grapes. The taste is slightly sweet at first but then the hoppy notes become noticeable with hints of tea, grapes, grass and some slight toffee notes.

Fat på Svejk, Stockholm. Kristallklar något mörkare guldig med krämig maräng. Spannmål, brödigt, knäcke, mineral, lätt metallton. Gott.

Tap at Hospůdka u Jána, Plzeň. Clear golden body, white head, thick and fairly lasting. Creamy aroma, light dried fruit, hmm, oxidation slightly, but without the cardboard. Smooth taste, bit caramelly maltiness, light sweaty fruitiness, minerally-herbal touches way in the background, a bit dryish finish, scant bitterness. At time kinda clicks together but what's the point od making a special 11% worse than your flagship 11%? Unless it didn't come out the way it was supposed to. Oh well.

0.5 Can. Very nice deep gold color with good big white foam. The box is not very imaginative. Czech hop scent, nothing disturbing in it, it looks pretty clean. Pilseni opens with bitterness, its carbonation is also absolutely fine. Not very full-bodied, but the characteristic basic bitterness makes you forget that. Very fair drinking Pilsner style beer, recommended. Not expensive.

Nagyon szép mély arany szín, jó nagy fehér habbal. A doboz nem túl ötletes. Cseh komló illat, semmi zavaró nincs benne, elég tisztának tűnik. Pilseni keserűséggel nyit, a szénsavassága is teljesen rendben. Nem túl testes, de a karakteres alap keserűség ezt feledteti. Nagyon korrekt ivó pilseni stílusú sör, ajánlott. Nem is drága.

Leicht rötliche Farbe. Kräftig, gut gehopft. Viel mehr Substanz als die 4,8 % Alk. vermuten lassen. Süßliche Malznoten treffen auf herbe Getreidenoten. Floral, Fruchtnoten sind nur in Nuancen vorhanden. Für 59 Cent bei Lidl gekauft. Das ist sehr günstig für ein Importbier in dieser Qualität. Sehr sympathisch finde ich, dass extra auf der Dose darauf hingewiesen wird, dass das Bier nicht abgekocht (also pasteurisiert) wurde. Das Zucker und (das neben Saazer Hopfen) auch Hopfenerzeugnisse (was ist das überhaupt?) als Zutaten aufgelistet werden hingegen nicht. Wird hier auf Ratebeer fälschlicher Weise als Pilsner geführt. „Helles Lagerbier“ steht auf dem Etikett - und geschmacklich wird dies auch erfüllt.

On tap at Solidaten Svejk. Pours a clear amber with large fluffy off white head that lasts. The aroma is toasted malt, earth, bread. Slick body, wet biscuit, grass, light bitterness, crushable, enjoyed this.
