Bottle picked up from Globus hypermarket, Ceské Budêjovice and consumed at home Saturday 27th June 2026. We were supposed to have Sophia, Stefan, and her their boys around tonight so we made Spicy Meatballs with Harissa Parsley etc. then Greek style Chicken Kebabs, then Halloumi, Chorizo and Red Pepper Kebabs plus a Greek Salad. Greek style Roasted Potatoes, with a Lemon Curd Ice Cream, Apricot Ice Cream and finally a Rhubarb Crumble Ice Cream, sadly due to illness they had to cancel. Anyway onto the beer, pours light amber, excellent clarity, mid sized white head. Hoppy aroma, a little grassy, presumably Czech hops but they've been quite generous in their use here. Solid bitterness, lengthy with a dry finish. Nice mouthfeel, good carbonation. This really has an impressive bitterness, I like it, in fact I had another one straight after. Score: 7.3

0,4 l glass at Bierfest Oldenburg 2026. A darkest brown in the glass, small one finger light tanned head. Malty aroma, roasted. Taste is intensive malty, toastet nuts, caramel in the background. Increasing bitterness to the end. Not bad.

Tap at bar sarte. Nice looking cloudy yellow color big head fading to a fine layer, no lacing, very clean. Flavor clasic in the style banana overall light spice, weath, dough, mild fruity hints of citrus. Taste os sweetish overall but balanced. Finish is great with almond notes, clean, perfumed. Very close to standards in the style, very nice, unexpectedly.

Äntligen drucken opastöriserad på fat på Soldaten Svejk. Gyllengul med en krämig maräng till skumkrona. Krispig och både aromatiskt harzig och besk humle mot en rejäl kropp med bröd och säd. En närmast perfekt pilsner. Mycket gott
