Bottle dated 6.8.2014. Aroma of burnt malts, dark chocolate, molasses, coffee, hops. Flavour is quite roasty, medium sweetness, with some bitterness in the finish. First Czech RIS I’ve had and it’s no disappointment.

Tap at Dum. Med body, light carbonation. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Medium diacetyl, and little else to be found here. Pretty disappointing to have a beer called basically "extra hopped" and barely feel any hops at all. Only light grassy earthy hints, but that might just be the DMS again. Ugh, just subpar.

Tap as "RlTankovy Benedict 12%" at Dum. Pretty classic lager feeling, flawed though. Med body, but low carbonation. Medium bitterness and light sweetness is fine, but medium diacetyl present, as is med-light vegetal DMS. Hops and malt character hidden, slightly metallic too. Not the worst, but subpar among micros definitely. And being their flagship beer, this is just a shame.

Tap at PDB. Lightly hazy shiny golden body, off-white head. Some floral, honeyish notes in the aroma, light yeastiness, meh. Dry, bitter taste, pleasant big herbal hoppy notes leading to a bitter finish, but completely ruined for me by some meaty yeastiness. Reminds me of multiple Staropramen and other MC affiliate brewery beers... apart from the big hoppiness of course, which lifts it up to tolerable levels. Disappointing.

Malty, dried fruits, dried apricot and banana, fresh plum and pear, slightly spicy and alcohol warmth and honey, medium full body, low carbonation. Very good example of the style. 0,7 l, bottle, brewery pub (Klášterní sýpka), Prague.

# 4495; 1/2025. As Adventní vanilkové; 12,1°, 4,8 % alc. Strong vanilla aroma, butter bisquit, slightly grainy. Clear amber body; beige head. Malty, vanilla, light caramely and herbal; slightly solvent finish. Vanilla flavor is very strong and very good, but an unbalanced beer overall. 1 l, plastic bottle, brewery pub (Klášterní sýpka), Prague.
