Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 2 - 01/03/14. Hazed chestnut/mahogony brown with moderate off white edgeing. Nose is toffee, earthy pangs, dark fruits, dates, sugars. Taste comprises brown bread, brown sugar, dark malts, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet close. Very medicore affair, to sweet, no balance.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 2 - 01/03/14. Extremely dark mahogony brown with a moderate tan covering that veers to the edge. Nose is dark roast, cocoa, dark toffee, brown sugars. Taste comprises light roast, earthy cocoa, dark toffee fudge. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying finale with light boozey tones. Mediocre for style a thoroughly whelming impy - a rare comodity!

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland 28/02/14. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malts, light plastic, fruit pangs, a little rough. Taste picks up a little comprising bready malts, orange, yeasty tones, pinch of spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. So so.
