0.5 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before February 2019. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity aroma of clove, banana and some wheat. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and a little fruity taste of clove, banana some wheat and a touch of vanilla, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and a bit chalky finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly creamy and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very solid Weizen!

0.5 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before November 2018. Hazy, amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, clove, wheat and hints of bubblegum. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and minimally artificial taste of banana, clove, some wheat and traces of bubblegum, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally tart, gently yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Not the greatest Weizen, pretty over-priced as well. Another disapppointment within the Duckstein range.

Enkel forfriskning i kveldssolen.

Bottle. Color: Amber, thin white head. Taste: Malty, medium sweet, with hints of caramal and unripe sour berries, lightly hints of vanilla. It took me some effort to recognize very lightly hints of wood and whiskey, as promised on the label, in the finish. Under medium body, average carbonation. Mediocre beer. Not worth to be called Grand Cru (= High Quality) as stated on the label in my opinion.

Optisch schönes Gold, in der Nase malzig, leicht süß, Spekulatius. Im Trunk schöne Rauchnoten, Schinken trifft Honig. Überraschend lecker.
