Keg at the White Hart, 24/10/14. Hazed reddish amber with a moderately appointed off white covering that retains well. Nose is candied fruit peel, spice, light Belgian yeast notes, hit of red grapefruit and tropicana, bubblegum. Taste comprises earthy hop notes, more fruit candy, blood orange, grapefruit, spice, citric tinged straw, rye bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent Belgian affair, kind of hopped up tropical cross-over stylee. One of the better beers from the nights roster.

Keg at the White Hart, 24/10/14. Hazed Iron-Bru orange with a moderate off white swirl and edgeing. Nose is earthy, bitter orange, straw, citric peel, candied fruit rinds. Taste comprises yeast esters, farmyard notes, sweet licks, spice, tangerine. Medium bodied, light spritz on the carbonation front, semi drying close. Whelming.

Keg at the brewpub, 24/10/14. Lightly hazed reddish amber with a decent off crimson covering. Nose is cherry tarte, straw, light brett, spice, funky wafts. Taste comprises subtle cherry notes, funky, straw, tarte red berries, earthy, brett pangs. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tarte cherry wash. Decent sour, fairly simple but good brett effect. One of the better beers on offer.

Keg at the brewery. Opaque black oily dark brown coloured pour with no head. Aroma is woody roast, solvent, booze, caramel. Flavour is composed of nutty, caramel and soft roast malts, warming alcohol and solvent, lingering wood. Some apple lingering. Signs of a stressed ferment. Palate is medium sweet, oily.

Gravity cask at the ever warm and steamy Beer Rebellion Gipsy Hill - London. Pours clear gold with a bubbly white head. The nose holds grass and leaves. Light sweet flavor with heavy minerals, grass, dried grains. Lgith to medium bodied with soft carbonation; almost no condition here. Light sweet flavor with gooey hops, abrasive grassy bitterness, light astringency. Not excellent. I fear the Beer Rebellion treatment has left this beer in poor form.

Cask at the White Hart, 24/10/14. Black with a decent khaki covering that retains well. Nose is earthy roast, chocolate, light spice, toffee, molasses. Taste comprises earthy roast, toffee fudge, cocoa rub, brown sugar. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, sweetish licks in the close tempered with roasty tunes. Decent enough porter.

Keg at the White Hart, 24/10/14. Lightly hazed golden with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is earthy, straw, citric peel, pretty basic, no BA notes. Taste comprises lemon rind, spice, citric peel, earthy, farmyard. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok saison, ticks the style boxes but pretty simple, didn’t get any BA from this.

Keg at the brewpub, 24/10/14. Light black with limited tan spotting and edgeing that soon vanishes to nyadda. Nose is earthy, cocoa notes, liqourice, light roast, treacle toffee, pretty simplistic. Taste comprises toffee, dark malts, chocolate, liqourice, molasses, light roast. Medium + bodiment, fine carboantion, light booze in the close. Very simplistic for the style, I soon tired of this one, one of the poorest offerings on show at their launch night.

Keg at the brewpub. Hazed pale yellow straw coloured pout with a halo of white head. Aroma is wood, booze and apple, fruity and floral, warming alcohol on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of wood, oak tanin , grainy, tart bit of apple. Palate is medium body, airy carbonation. Very tasty.

Nose is caramel malt forward, bitter tropical peels, orange pith, citric laced straw, grapefruit, Taste comprises juicy hops, orange pith, apricot, pine, caramel malt, grapefruit, mineral wash. Medium + body, fine carbonation, juicy hop rinse in the close. A very well balanced solid DIPA, their best house beer easily!
