500 ml bottle, as Sadler's Peaky Blinder Black IPA, from Det Gode Brygg, Kvadrat, Sandnes. ABV is 4.4%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Large to moderate off-white to beige head. Roasty aroma, notes of coffee and dark chocolate, also hints of piney hops. Roasty flavour too, medium dry, notes of coffee, distinct piney hops.

Bottle from a colleague and drunk at home. Hazy dirty pink colour lasting white head. Rhubarb and strawberry aroma. Sweet but as sweet as some of these fruit ciders. It's fine if too sweet.

Bottle from Home Bargains, Halifax. Golden with a slight haze and a small head. Surprisingly quite tasty with a crisp hoppy ale character mixed into a lager styled brew. The lack of fizz and carbs is significant here.

Bottle from B&M Bargains, Halifax. Dark brown with a very small head. Sweetened stout, but neither this or its actual style ever get that stated. It does have a nice winter-warmer density about its texture. What roasted character in this brew is best found in its nose.

50 cl. bottle shared with Suus @ Alex and Suus. Black with a thin of-white head. Roasted malts aroma with faint hops. Roast bitter taste with a bitter finish. Nice enough beer but nowhere near a black IPA. Just a slight more hopped stout, which is still nice of course.

500ml bottle. Probably Westons Rosie's Pig rhubarb. Pink pour. Light rhubarb nose. Fairly thin, juicy palate. Gentle rhubarb. Some strawberry. Simplistic, fine.
