500ml bottle. Probably Westons Rosie's Pig rhubarb. Pink pour. Light rhubarb nose. Fairly thin, juicy palate. Gentle rhubarb. Some strawberry. Simplistic, fine.

Third, cask ale, 4.3 % abv, at Head of Steam. Shared with Finn. Patchy surface, scattered lacing, hazed golden body. Mid-dry smell of fruity caramel. Ripe fruity taste alongside mid-sweet malty hints. Ends mid-sweet malt-fruity. Fair enough. (Birmingham 03.02.2020).

330ml bottle. Pours bright gold with a medium head. Aroma is stone, minerals, a little corn. Taste has minerals, burnt toast and a touch of corn.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Dark brown with beige head. Caramel, some chocolate and cocoa, light roastiness, sweetish. Watery and somewhat bland. Light bodied.

Bottle from Bernies. Poured orange amber with a small just off-white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet malt, biscuit, touch of pine and caramel. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Not a great IIPA but the best of the dozen or so Sadler's beers I've had so far.

Bottle from B&M. Poured almost black with a beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, coffee and a touch of ash. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation.
