Cask at the White Swan, Solihull. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, yeasty, light citrus. Bottle from B&M, Halifax. Apricot-orange coloured cider without an obvious rhubarb flavour, but a very good, very tasty berry-style light sweetness to this effect.

Deep ruby brown color, fair fizzy beige head, mostly diminishing. Aroma roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, caramel. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, earthy notes, dryish sweetbitter aftertaste, bit bready. Not really a black IPA, more like a stout, a very nice beer anyway.
