Bottle @ Hart & Spool, Borehamwood. Golden-orange with a thick frothy head. Has stronger tasting wheat ale notes with a hint of orange, and banana too, which is most stated in its nose.

29/8/2019. Bottle from Sir John Moore, Glasgow enjoyed from the bottle on train back to Carlisle. Aroma of citrus, hops, flowers and vanilla with light spicy and herbal notes and some banana foam sweets. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight creamy texture, above average carbonation. Increasingly sweet and slightly herbal finish. Not bad but doubt I’d seek it out again.

Keg @ Bartons Arms, Aston. Pours a hazed orange, small off-white head. Aroma is lightly fruity, sweet. Expected a witbier / hefe of some description but seemed a rather disappointing amber, earthy english yeast, spice, lightly sweet malt.. seems a bit confused, not entirely sure what it wants to be. Pretty awful.

[50cl bottle from B&M, Tolworth.] A cloudy amber pour with a thin white head; grainy aroma with a hint of yeast; sweet grainy body with yeast and some orange zest; giving a touch of orange to the finish.

500ml bottle: BBE Feb 2020. Poured into an Abbot Ale Pint tankard at home on 5th Aug 2019. Misty dull gold/orange body, off-white head of uneven bubbles. Wheaty aroma with some orange esters in the background alongside a pick of pepper. The taste has a strange harshness and a peppery feel within it's wheaty, banana flavours. Certainly different to anything else I've had from Sadler's, not too sure what to make of it! Made me 'burp' a lot.
