Hand pulled half pint at the Bird in Hand, Stafford on 1st August 2026. Pale golden pour, clean and clear, white topping. As the name suggests, this is citrusy with a lemon flavour and aroma. Not much more to add really.

Handpull cask at the King's Head, Leicester. Light, almost lagery gold, mostly clear with an uneven spotty off-white head. Light aroma, some malt, lemon balm, citrus peel. Tastes bittersweet, a little more bitter than sweet, with gentle astringency in the finish. Light to medium body. Good carbonation. A very impressive golden, far away from the hote goldes of yesteryear.

11/4/2026. Cask at the Isle of Man CAMRA 13th Beer & Cider Festival. Pours nicely. Aroma is hoppy, citrusy, grapefruit, herbal, grassy, resin. Quite sweet and a little soapy. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. Sweet and fragrant finish with some subtle developing bitterness. Rather too sweet but likeable.
